  Rotary Club of Purulia jointly with Rotaract Club of Purulia organized a YOGA & BODY BUILDING Competition at Haripada Sahitya Mandir, Munsiffdanga, Purulia on 12th & 13th September 2009. The BODY BUILDING competition, held on 12th September 2009, was divided into 3 categories – upto 55 kg, upto 60 kg., and above 60 kgs. 40 Body builders of different gyms from all over the district participated in the programme. Ex-Mr. India Shri Ganesh Roy and Ex- Mr. India as well as National Judge Shri Anup Mukherjee lighted the judge's chairs. The YOGA competition, held on 13th September 2009, was divided into three groups for each sex – between 6 yrs. to 12 yrs., 12 yrs. to 18 yrs. and 18 yrs. to 25 yrs. 39 female and 35 male candidate participated in the competition. "CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS" was selected from the Champions from both the groups of each sex. The programme was an attractive one and the hall was filled with audience.
