The environment is getting polluted day by day. Rotary Club of Purulia took a small step and organized a Tree Plantation programme on 26th July 2009 at Lalpur, a village 28 kms. away from the town. Almost 250 saplings were planted in the premises of Lalpur Eye Hospital.

Members were in the mood of celebration. They enjoyed working in the field and nourishing the saplings. This activity of our club was a step towards the motto of “Grow Green”.
“This Ambulance Service run by Rotary Club of Purulia is a 24 hrs x 365 days service done on a no profit basis. This service has been able to help in many patients surviving as they were able to reach better medical facilities outside Purulia.”
