Rotary Club of Purulia jointly with Rotaract Club of Purulia Central has organized a Grand Computerized Quiz Competition “INTELLIGENTA – 08” at Nistarini College Auditorium on 7th September 2008 for the first time in the history of Purulia. 61 teams from various schools participated in this programme. The programme was divided into four parts – Elimination Round, Written Round, 2nd Round and Final Round.

In the Final Round St. Xavier’s School, Purulia achieved the 1st position, 1st Runner-up was Chittaranjan Boy’s High School, Purulia and 2nd Runner-up was Chinmoya Vidyalaya, Bokaro. Principal of DAV Public School and DFO Mr. Balamurugan was present in the programme.
