Pulse Polio Pulse Polio

Rotary Club of Purulia arranged Pulse Polio camps in the interior villages of Purulia district where Pulse Polio drops were given to children below 5 years by the members of our club on 10th February, 2010. Besides these Rotary gifts of caps, sashes, sun-shades and biscuits & chocolates were also distributed among the children. RC Purulia arranged 20 booths around Purulia town to give free drops of Polio, where 1473 children were provided the same.

No of children provided Polio drops : 1473

This activity of our club is of great help for villagers to fight against Polio. At the same time we find ourselves being able to reach remote corners of the community to provide the much-needed services.
