Pulse Polio Pulse Polio

Rotary Club of Purulia arranged Pulse Polio camps in the interior villages of Purulia district where Pulse Polio drops were given to children below 5 years by the members of our club in presence of Rtn. Colin James of United Kingdom on 1st February, 2009.  Besides this Rotary gifts of caps, sashes, sun-shades and biscuits & chocolates were also distributed among the childen. We arranged 20 booths around Purulia town to give free drops of Polio, where 2000 children were provided the same.

This activity of our club is of great help for villagers to fight against Polio. At the same time we find ourselves being able to reach remote corners of the community to provide the much-needed services.
