On the ocassion of Republic Day, after the flag hoisting ceremony, members of the club traveled to the School for the Blind located in Vivekananda Nagar, a couple of kms. away from Purulia town. There food packets were distributed to 120 resident blind children, who are housed in the campus. Spending some time with these under-privileged children filled the hearts with a sense of joy and shares the love of Rotary.
